Evelyn (Medeiros) Souza, of East Providence, passed away on February 6, 2013. She was 90.
She was the wife of the late Alfred P. Souza, Sr. and daughter of the late John and RoseMary (Cavaco) Medeiros.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie Volante and her husband, Louie; a son Kenneth Souza and his wife, Nancy; 7 grandchildren, and 8 great- grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Alfred Souza, Jr.

Calling hours are today from 8:30 to 10 am in the A.A. Mariani and Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St. Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in the Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse St., Providence.
Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
