Gregory A. Fiske, 57, Ex-Anchor Insulation President

His calling hours are Wednesday and his funeral is Saturday, Sept. 7, from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home in Riverside.

Gregory A. Fiske, CDR SC, USN (Ret.), of Short Road, Barrington, died peacefully on September 1, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was 57.

He was the beloved husband of Terrie (Munroe) Fiske. They were married for 28 years. 

Born in Providence, a son of Elenore (Schroder) Fiske of Barrington and the late Fred B. Fiske, he lived in Barrington for 52 years. 

Fiske was president of Anchor Insulation Co. Inc. for many years until his illness. The firm's headquarters is in Pawtucket with branch offices in Tewksbury, MA, Niantic, CT, Manchester, CT and East Haven, CT. 

Fiske was past president of the Association of Facility Engineer’s Rhody Chapter 63. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the East Providence Chamber of Commerce and member of the Board of Directors of the National Insulation Contractors Exchange. Fiske was a Navy veteran. 

He enjoyed golfing, gardening, making homemade wine and beekeeping. 

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by three sons; Tyler J. Fiske and his wife Christy of East Providence, Jordan A. Fiske and Connor G. Fiske, both at home, a daughter; Haley R. Fiske at home, two brothers; Jerry T. Fiske and his wife Cynthia of Barrington and Eric E. Fiske and his wife Marsha of Westerly, a sister; Kimberly S. Whyte and her husband Douglas of Barrington, two grandchildren; Lilya Fiske and Eleanor Fiske and several nieces and nephews. 

His funeral service will be held on Saturday Sept. 7, 2013 in the Barrington Baptist Church, 25 Old County Road, Barrington at 11 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Nayatt Road, Barrington. 

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday Sept. 4, 2013 in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 4 to 8 pm. Flowers are respectfully omitted.
