Mary (Furtado) Oliver, 78: Grandmother, Immigrated from the Azores

Mary (Furtado) Oliver, 78, of Thatcher St., Rumford, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, according to Rebello Funeral Home.
She was the wife of the late Manuel Oliver.
Born May 12, 1935, in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Eduardo and Alexandrina (Cabral) Furtado.
She leaves her children, Maryann Gallo and her husband David of Coventry and Vern Oliver and his wife Ann of Warwick; her grandchildren, Nicole, David, Heather, Ashley, Zachary and Noah; and her sister Alexandrina Fasteson of Riverside.
Her funeral will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with burial following at the RI Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
