Mary Gomes, 84: Assembler for Hasbro Toys

Mary Gomes, 84, formerly of Juniper Street, died Dec. 16, 2013 at Orchard View Manor, according to Rebello Funeral Home.

Born in East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Clara (Rodrigues) Gomes.

Mary worked as an assembler for Hasbro Toy Company for 25 years, retiring in 1992.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John, Alfred and Joseph Gomes, Phoebe Clark and Dorothy Lombardo.

Her funeral will begin on Friday at 8 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Church, N. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday 5-8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
