Mary N. Pocai, 89
She was the wife of the late Alred Pocai; calling hours are today from from 4 to 7 pm in Cranston.
Mary N. (Morena) Pocai, of East Providence, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was 89.
She was the wife of the late Alfred Pocai. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Donato and Maria Costanza (DiChiaro) Morena.
Pocai worked at Bulova Watch Company in Providence, and then later was employed at A&Z Chain in East Providence for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by her son, Fredrick Pocai Sr. and his wife Linda of Johnston, her grandson , Fredrick Pocai, Jr. and was also the sister of Josephine Eike of Conn., Manuel Morena of Cranston, Lucy Paglia of East Greenwich and Christy Morena of Cranston. She was also the sister of the late Etta Carello and Carmen Morena.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are today from 4 to 7 pm.
