Norma (Pavao) Piros, 85: Mother, Grandmother

Norma (Pavao) Piros, 85, of Elson Dr,. Riverside, died unexpectedly at home Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, according to Rebello Funeral Home.

She was the wife of the late Manuel Piros.

Born in Providence, Dec. 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Enocencia "Nancy" (Brown) Pavao.

She leaves her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Pati Piros of Riverside; her granddaughters, Karissa and Kendra Piros; and her brothers, John Pavao (his late wife Laura) of Riverside and James Pavao and his wife Carol of East Providence. She was also the sister-in-law of Joseph Gomes of Riverside, and of the late Pauline Henriques, Emily Ferreira, Mary Pires, Joseph Piros and Fernando Gomes.

Her funeral will begin Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Brendan's Church, Turner Ave., Riverside. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are today, Tuesday, 5-8 p.m.
