Raymond P. Ondrick, 87: Navy WWII Vet, Owned Seekonk Printing Co.

Raymond P. Ondrick, 87, of Fall River Ave., Seekonk, died peacefully surrounded by his family at the Miriam Hospital, Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014.

He was the husband of the late Pearl (Daigle) Ondrick.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on Jan. 17, 1926, he was the son of the late Andrew and Margaret (Huxley) Ondrick. A Navy veteran of WWII, Mr. Ondrick owned Seekonk Printing Co. and was a supervisor of the print shop of the former Fleet Bank for many years.

He leaves his children, David Ondrick of New Jersey, Christine Willetts of East Providence, Jeanne DiFusco and her husband Michael of North Smithfield, and Wendy Pacheco and her husband Michael of Seekonk; his grandchildren, David, Melissa, Denise, Samuel, Stephanie and Heather; his great grandchildren, Kevin, Nicole, Cody, Kathleen, Steven and Hannah; his great granddaughter, Maddison; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will begin Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, No. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial with military honors will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-8pm.
