Ronald Anthony Duarte, of So. Blossom St., East Providence, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, from injuries sustained in a fire in his home. He was 68.
Born August 21, 1944 in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony and Helena (Lyons) Duarte. He was the brother of the late Helen Durfee and the late Nancy Vincent.
Ronald was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Following his wishes, his funeral will be private with military honors and burial at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
