Shirley A. Aniello, 87

She lived in Riverside most of her life, the wife of Vincent Aniello, a graduate of RISD.

Shirley A. Aniello, of North Broadway, died on Jan. 8, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. She was 87.

She was the wife of Vincent T. Aniello. Born in Riverside, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Frances (Lewis) Lother.

She lived in Riverside most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and a former member of the church choir. She enjoyed playing the piano, listening to music and her art.

She was a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design Class of 1946.

Besides her husband of 59 years, she is survived by two sons, Thomas V. Aniello of Warwick and Alfred W. Aniello of East Providence; two daughters, Elizabeth A. Banasik of Webster, Mass. and Jean M. Martin of East Providence; a sister, Joyce Mabey of New Hampshire, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Hildreth.

Calling hours are Tuesday, Jan. 15, from 8 to 9 am from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Ave., Riverside.Her funeral will be held on Tuesday from the W. Raymon Watson Funeral Home at 8 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
