POEM: TLA Stands for 'Trash Laden Area'

TLA Pondview -Trash Laden Area

There is a pile of trash so high
it seems to nearly reached the sky
it towers over the berm in place
that was designed to completely trash encase
a call of complaint was made to DEM for cause
who seem to have placed their authority on pause
upon a follow up call of review, I was told DEM advised to knock the level height down
which, to me, seems like the trash is just spread around
Laws now in place designed to protect us and our surround
must have DEM stymied, confused and in a state of confound
the company continues to operate creating big mounds
while DEM awaits a continued court case
which wasn't necessary if DEM had either not issued and/or just pulled their permit
all the while our neighborhood is assaulted by odor, dust, noise they emit..some say "life just isn't fair"
but I question if elected/appointed authorities just don't care
their lives aren't affected by what happens here
I suspect it would be a different story if they lived near....how sad for us and all neighbors involved
this environmental issue is still not solved.
