Assault With Halloween Decoration

East Providence police charge a Jenks Street man for striking a man who came onto his property with a Halloween decoration.

An East Providence man, 50, was charged with assault last Saturday, Oct. 27, after he struck a Seekonk man with a Halloween decoration.

Police described the incident as a continuing dispute between neighbors.

Domingo Domingues Sr., of 51 Jenks St., allegedly struck John K. Sousa, 44, after Sousa walked onto his property and asked that a car on Jenks Street be moved. Sousa was visiting a family member who lives next door to Domingues.
