The East Providence Police Department has posted photos of the Dec. 31 robbery of Express Gas on Wampanoag Trail on the Rhode Island Most Wanted website, asking for the public's help in finding the burglar.
According to the report posted to the site, a medium-build, medium-height man broke into the store's front glass door using a cement block to break a hole through it. Once inside, the man stole 10-15 cartons of cigarettes from behind the counter and left the way he came in.
Police do not know if he was driving a vehicle during the break-in.
