EP Firefighters Battle Walnut Street Blaze

Nobody hurt in multi-family house fire.

Members of the East Providence Fire Department extinguished a fire on Walnut Street Monday morning.

Fire officials said nobody was hurt in the blaze and multiple fire trucks responded.

The fire broke out at 150-152 Walnut Street at around 10 a.m. The two-family, two-and-a-half story house was built in 1900 and is owned by Chantra Sek, according to city records.

No word yet on a cause.
