EP Police Charge Bristol man with Assaulting Girl, 10, in City Pool
Police said Raymond Joseph Dubord, a registered sex offender, touched the girl in the pool at Healthtrax Fitness and Wellness Center on Catamore Boulevard and was arrested Wednesday.
A 63-year-old Bristol man is facing charges of simple assault for inappropriately touching a 10-year-old girl in a swimming pool at a East Providence fitness and wellness center.
Police said Raymond Joseph Dubord, a registered sex offender, touched the girl in the pool at Healthtrax Fitness and Wellness Center on Catamore Boulevard and was arrested Wednesday.
Along with the charges, Dubord's membership at Halifax was revoked.
Dubord has been convicted of first- and second-degree child molestation in the past.
Dubord was arrested in 1991 by East Providence Police on multiple child molestation charges and ended up pleading no contest to a second-degree sexual assault and a first-degree child molestation charge in 1993.
He was sentenced to a 20-year suspended prison sentence and 20 years of probation.
