Today East Providence Police and State Police continued to search for Daniel Larue, 20, missing since Jan. 2, returning to the Seekonk River after efforts Jan. 8 were hampered by ice.
The Providence Journal reports two small boats were on the river in the area of Bold Point Park this morning.
EP Police, RI State Troopers and members of the RI Department of Environmental Management Marine Unit assisted in the earlier search of the water, which was called off due to heavy ice on the river at the time.
Police ask anyone who has seen Larue to contact Lt. Det. David at 401-435-7600.
