Firefighters Snuff Bedroom Blaze

The fire started in a two-story home on Cobb Street at approximately 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

Members of the East Providence Fire Department quickly extinguished a fire that started in a second-floor bedroom at 53 Cobb St. on Tuesday afternoon.

All occupants were able to safely leave the building, according to Fire Chief Joseph Klucznik.

Firefighters are investigating the cause of fire, he said.
