Police Locate Man Connected to Girlfriend's Murder

Andrew Jett was found in Baltimore, Maryland.

A man connected to the death of a woman found murdered in her East Providence home was taken into custody in Baltimore, according to reports from the East Providence Police Department.

East Providence police were looking for Andrew Jett, 52, after his girlfriend was  in her Metacomet Avenue residence last Friday.

Jett was found guilty of murdering of his then-girlfriend Stephanie Oxendine. He served 18 years in prison and was paroled in 2010. According to East Providence police, he was taken into custody in Maryland for violating parol. He is now being questioned.

Police officers could not comment on the circumstances of Busby's death as the case is under investigation.
