The Providence County Grand Jury indicted Julius Durant with one count for first degree rape for an incident that occurred in East Providence on Oct. 26, Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin announced Thursday.
Durant, 36, of 35, of 37 Warrington St., Providence, allegedly raped a woman in the city and was arrested by East Providence Police.
Durant is due to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 12.
