State Police Reports and Legal Logs - December 2012

A collection of various East Providence-related arrests and Grand Jury reports. The following information does not indicate a conviction.

 

Detective Bureau

On Nov. 29,  members of HIDTA arrested Edwin Cabrera, 29, of 111 Evergreen Dr., East Providence, for 1) Possession of Heroin, 1oz-1 kilo; 2) Possession With Intent to Deliver Heroin. Cabrera was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment.

Lincoln Woods Barracks

At 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 21, Troopers arrested Christopher Mercado, 22, of 54 Abbott St., East Providence, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on a charge of Possession of Marijuana originating out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 West in the City of Providence. Mercado was then transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks to be processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution, Men's Intake Center.

Hope Valley Barracks

At 2:07 p.m. on Nov. 27, a trooper arrested Jeremy Montijo, 23, of 18 Leonard Ave., East Providence, on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Municipal Court Summons for Public Consumption of Alcohol issued by Narragansett Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of West Greenwich. Montijo was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed then turned over to Narragansett Police Department.

At 9:00 p.m. on Nov. 30, Troopers arrested Ibrahim A. Adigun, 23, of 239 Providence Ave., East Providence, for Possession of Marijuana – 1st Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of Richmond. Adigun was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by JP Robinson and released pending future 4th District Court dates.
