State Police Reports and Legal Logs - November 2012

State Police Detective Bureau

At approximately 10 a.m. on Oct. 26, Detectives charged inmate Danielle Bello, 37, 17 Central Ave., East Providence, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of New York. Inmate Bello was presented before the Third District Court where she waived extradition to New York. She was remanded to the Gloria McDonald Women's facility to await the New York authorities.

Lincoln Woods Barracks - 10/28

At 1:31 a.m. on Oct. 28, Troopers arrested Austin L. Handy, 47, of 132 Hazard Ave., East Providence, for 1.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department 2.) Family Court Bench Warrant Reciprocal Body Attachment for Failure to Appear for Non-Support 3.) Family Court Bench Warrant Reciprocal Body Attachment for Failure to Appear for Non-Support 4.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle or Parts originating out of the East Providence Police Department and 5.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle or Parts originating out of the East Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Admiral Street in the City of Providence. Handy was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correction Institution Men's Intake Center.
