Troopers arrest EP man on DUI charge after stop in Warwick

 On Saturday December 28, 1:56 a.m., Troopers arrested Robert D. Banz, age 55, of 44 Freeborn Ave., East Providence, Rhode Island for: 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs – 1st Offense (BAC Unknown) and 2.) Chemical Test Refusal. 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Banz was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending a morning Special Arraignment.

EP woman arrested in Coventry for skipping court on suspended license charge

On Saturday, Dec. 28, At 6:20 p.m., Troopers arrested Beatriz Hunter, age 47, of 345 Massasoit Avenue, East Providence, on a Forth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on an original charge Driving on a Suspended License out of the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks. 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street in Coventry. Hunter was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution - Women's Intake Center.

EP man arrested in West Warwick as family court scofflaw

On Saturday Dec. 28, 1:25 p.m., Troopers arrested Anthony E. Lenzen, age 43, of 138 Wilmarth Ave., East Providence, for a Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment—Non Support. 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in the town of West Warwick. Lenzen was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
