Track Students Run to Rescue in Fiery Car Crash

Two students were leaving track practice in Warwick when they saw a fiery accident on I-95 and acted quickly.

A pair of Bishop Hendricken High School students, senior John Cute and junior Lee Moses, were leaving track practice in Warwick on Tuesday night when they saw two cars on fire along I-95, NBC 10 reported Thursday afternoon.

Cute pulled the car over, running across traffic to see if any help was required. Moses followed suit, and stood next to bystanders at the scene. 

Cute went back to the burning vehicles and ensured no one had been left inside, according to NBC 10. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

A press conference in scheduled for Friday in which Rhode Island State Police will give more information on the incident.
