Pet of the Week: Gentle Giant

Kitty is a 3-year-old tiger that may be part Maine coon; see him at the East Providence Animal Control Center.

Kitty is a grey tiger stripe male available for adoption at East Providence Animal Control Center.

"He is very affectionate and craves attention," said East Providence Animal Control Officer William Muggle. "He loves to be held even though he is a very large cat."

"We believe Kitty is part Maine coon considering many distinctive characteristics he has, such as his large feet, body size, and enormous fluffy tail. Kitty is approximately 3 years old, and was rescued by animal control officers when they received word he was stuck in the wall of a local building that was being renovated.
