Taxpayers are responsible for city council members' health benefits.

Have a good cry on this one as the city goes broke! The below was taken from East Providence Patch.

I guess there is no split vote on this city council issue - five for five on health benefits! The school committee does not receive health benefits.

I bet Michael DiGioia will run for state representative.
