Curtain Going Up on Bay View's 30th 'Manhattan at the Bay'

The curtain rises on Bay View Academy's 30th annual "Manhattan at the Bay" fundraiser for the Riverside school this weekend.

Four days of music, food and fun will include five presentations of the original performance: “Tradition! A Tribute to Cabaret 30.” In brief:

Thursday, April 25, Student Night

6:30 pm showtime with student pizza party (grades five through 12) immediately following ($15 ticket includes show and pizza party)

Friday, April 26, Family Night

7 pm showtime with Family Night Dinner served at 5 pm, including characters dressed in costume from previous shows, a red carpet photographer, and many raffle prizes. Serving pasta, meatballs, chicken fingers, french fries and an ice cream sundae bar. Cash Bar. ($25 show ticket. Family dinner tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 14 and under. All tickets must be pre-purchased; no walk-ins.)

Saturday, April 27, Taste of the Bay

4:30 and 7 pm showtimes, with Taste of the Bay taking place simultaneously from 6 to 11 pm. Local restaurants, cafes, caterers and liquor distributors provide 25+ tasty samples of food and more than 80 different wines and beers. Complimentary champagne toast included, as well as musical entertainment and dancing. ($25 show ticket. Taste of the Bay tickets are $50 per person. This is an 18+ event).

Sunday, April 28, Mass and Brunch

Mass and Brunch begins at 11:30 am. We will announce and celebrate this year’s Alumnae of the Year as well as Honorary Alumnae. Show begins at 3 pm ($25 show ticket. Mass and Brunch tickets are $25).
