Affirmative Action Committee Sworn In
Members of East Providence's Affirmative Action Committee were reappointed or appointed by the City Council.
Members of East Providence's Affirmative Action Committee were in the spotlight for several minutes at the City Council meeting on Tuesday evening, Feb. 19. The members were reappointed or appointed to the committee and then sworn in by East Providence Mayor James Briden. The members: Cheryl Burrell of 1370 Patucket Ave., Jerome Spinola of 200 East Shore Circle, Cheryl Gibbs of 810 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Anita Turner of 190 Grosvenor Ave., Gaston Malloy of 384 Roger Williams Ave., William Fontes of 95 Hazard Ave., and Nadina Lima of 3 Ledgewood Boulevard, Darmouth, Mass.
