Pikachu is a grey male domestic medium shorthair cat available for adoption at East Providence Animal Control Center. Pikachu was found as a stray at an apartment building in East Providence. The cat’s actual age is unknown. Since coming to the facility, the cat has been neutered and vaccinated. Pikachu loves to play with toys and is a very affectionate kitty. Meet the cat available for adoption this week at the East Providence Animal Control Center.
Len is a male, white and black domestic long hair available for adoption at the East Providence Animal Control Center. Len was found as a stray in East Providence in need of some TLC. Staff treated him for fleas and ticks, and the cat has since been neutered and vaccinated. Len is now a healthy, playful kitty. The center is unsure of Len’s age, but the cat is a young adult that loves plenty of attention. Len might work well in a home with other cats since he likes to play with his buddy “Taluz,” another cat available for adoption. But the cat would not do well in a home with dogs. Trixie was found wandering around East Providence last fall.
Trixie is a beautiful, brown female Pitbull available for adoption at the East Providence Animal Control Center. The dog was found wandering around East Providence last October. The city workers who found her called animal control to come help Trixie. She is approximately 2-3 years old and is in very good health. Trixie has been spayed and is current on her vaccinations. She listens very well and loves to play with toys. Trixie is friendly with people but she does not like cats. She is a very entertaining canine, and is in need of a good home. Sophie is a white and grey female Shih-Tzu available for adoption at East Providence Animal Control Center. Sophie was found abandoned in a carrier in East Providence. Since coming to animal control, Sophie has been spayed and vaccinated. She had severely matted fur, which the veterinarian has shaved off, and she is now being medicated for a skin condition because of the neglect Sophie has been through. She is approximately 1-2 years old. Sophie is the sweetest little thing although she may be a little nervous and shy at first. With all of the TLC she's received, Sophie is now showing the EP staff her appreciation & her loving side, and always greets us with kisses and love. Aria is a dilute tortoiseshell, domestic short hair feline available for adoption at East Providence Animal Control Center. Aria was found as a very underweight and malnourished stray. Aria has since been examined by the veterinarian. She is spayed, de-clawed and has a heart murmur which is due to old age. She is approximately 10 years old. Aria is very relaxed kitty, and enjoys attention, companionship and affection. She is very loving and would make a wonderful lap cat. This poor little girl has been through a lot to say the least, surviving on her own. She is now on her biggest mission to find someone willing to give her what she deserves -- a good retirement home.
