Candidates Interviewed to Run City's Finance, HR Departments
State employees are interviewing candidates alongside East Providence administrators.
Search committees are narrowing down the pool of candidates that applied for the two available municipal finance and human resource director positions. Hopefuls are in the interview stages, according to City Manager Peter Graczykowski. Committee members are a mix of East Providence and state employees. Ellen Eggeman, former finance director, recently left her post at the city for a position at Portsmouth Abbey School. The school department and city finance director positions will be consolidated into one, according to plans reported by budget commission members. Graczykowski hasn't even been in the position a year, and most of that time has been under the Overseer or Budget Commission. I think it's unfair to judge him yet more ›
