Broker Wanted to Peddle 8 Properties

The East Providence Budget Commission signs off on an RFP for a real estate broker to sell or lease 8 vacant buildings or parcels in the city, including a former school with historic significance.

East Providence is looking for a real estate broker to help it sell or lease a host of vacant properties or parcels. The properties include a former branch library in Kent Heights, two former school administration buildings, and the former Union Primary School on Pawtucket Avenue – a building with historic significance. The East Providence Budget Commission signed off on a request for a proposal to hire a broker to peddle eight properties: Deed restrictions must be placed on the exterior of the Union School building and the room in the building that served as the 1873 one-room schoolhouse before it is sold. The vacant lot at Bentley Street is contaminated, according to site investigation reports and assessments. The broker must agree to …
