Mary Tarris Robinson (Donovan), formerly of Riverside, passed away Friday, Sept. 28.
The following obituary was provided by Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home in North Kingstown. Mary Tarris Robinson (Donovan) of Exeter, formerly of Riverside, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 28, 2012. She was 92 years old. She was the wife of the late William W. Donovan; and the former wife of the late Alex Oriole. Born in Frankfort, NY, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (Peach) Tarris. Mrs. Robinson worked for the State of Rhode Island at the Institute for Mental Health as a psychiatric aide for many years before retiring. She was a fabulous cook, enjoyed playing the piano and was an animal lover. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
