Kids Picked for All-State Ensembles

Nine East Providence seventh- and eighth-graders at Martin Middle School have been selected to perform in the All-State Band and All-State Chorus.

Nine Martin Middle School seventh- and eighth-graders have been selected to perform in the RI All-State band or chorus junior division concerts next March. Alexander Flower (trombone), Andrew Rogers (trumpet) and Taylor Texeira (baritone saxophone) have been chosen for the All-State Band, said Susana Pimentel, band director at the East Providence school. Selected to sing in the All-State Chorus are Dorian Amado (bass), Chris Concepcion (tenor), Erin St. Hilaire (soprano), Rachel Lavalley (alto), Daniel Strother (tenor) and Taliq Tillman (tenor).
