Detective Bureau On Nov. 29, members of HIDTA arrested Edwin Cabrera, 29, of 111 Evergreen Dr., East Providence, for 1) Possession of Heroin, 1oz-1 kilo; 2) Possession With Intent to Deliver Heroin. Cabrera was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment. Lincoln Woods Barracks At 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 21, Troopers arrested Christopher Mercado, 22, of 54 Abbott St., East Providence, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Payment Review on a charge of Possession of Marijuana originating out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 West in the City of Providence. Mercado was then transported to the Lincoln Woods …

Detective Bureau On Nov. 7, 2012, Detectives assigned to the ACI charged Sean D. Santos, 28, having a last known address of 38 Potter St., East Providence, with Violation of a No Contact Order/Third Offense. Santos appeared before the Honorable Judge Houlihan, where no plea was entered on the felony charge. Judge Houlihan set bail at $2,000 personal recognizance and scheduled a pre-arraignment conference for Jan. 18, 2013. Judge Houlihan re-issued the no contact order. Santos was also presented as a probation violator and subsequently remanded to the Adult Correctional Institutions to continue serving a six (6) year sentence on previous charges of Felony Domestic Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Kidnapping. State Police Detective Bureau At approximately 10 a.m. on Oct. 26, Detectives charged inmate Danielle Bello, 37, 17 Central Ave., East Providence, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of New York. Inmate Bello was presented before the Third District Court where she waived extradition to New York. She was remanded to the Gloria McDonald Women's facility to await the New York authorities. Lincoln Woods Barracks - 10/28 At 1:31 a.m. on Oct. 28, Troopers arrested Austin L. Handy, 47, of 132 Hazard Ave., East Providence, for 1.)
