Bay View's Valedictorian Moves On to Larger Waters
Bethany Biszko plans to study veterinary medicine at Georgetown University, while also serving on its crew team.
For the past four years, Bethany Biszko could be found yelling at the top of her lungs out on the Seekonk River. It was just a normal weekday afternoon for the coxswain for St. Mary Academy-Bay View's crew team. This fall, Biszko will move to larger waters as she continues her athletic pursuits at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Biszko will be acting as coxswain for the men's heavyweight crew team at Georgetown, a position she chose after a difficult college decision process that included tempting offers from other prestigious universities.
