East Providence is hosting a vaccination clinic from 4 to 7 pm at the school at 179 Forbes St. East Providence, the Rhode Island Department of Health, and the Wellness Company are teaming up to offer the vaccinations, said Wayne Barnes, deputy Emergency Management Agency director in East Providence. The regular seasonal flu shot will be offered for those ages 6 months and older who have not received it yet this season. The Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) vaccine is for anyone 11 years of age and older. “Anyone who is in close contact with an infant should get a Tdap shot if they haven’t been immunized in the past five years,” said Barnes, “…
