EP Teen Killed in Car Crash at Bryant University

Driver of car in accident passed a sobriety test, according to reports.

Christiano Barbosa, a Bryant University student from East Providence, was killed in an early morning car crash at the school's campus Thursday. 

Bryant named the the student on Twitter offering their condolences. "Bryant community today mourns the death of Christiano Barbosa, Class of 2017. Our kindest thoughts go to Christiano's family and friends," the University tweeted.

According to a report from EastBayRI.com, Barbosa was one of three passengers in the rear of the vehicle when it hit a tree on Physical Road at about 1 a.m. Oct. 24. The driver passed a sobriety test. None of the rear passengers were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
